Thanks To You

You said you were my best friend
That nothing could come between
You stabbed me in the back
And made that cut very clean
She was everything to me
I gave her everything I had
I’d expect this from anyone else
But with you it’s extra sad
You have everything
But that was not enough
You had to take her away too
Life is gotten oh so tough
Now I wander through the halls
Watching you hold hands
It makes me sick looking at you
Hearing you make your own plans
You say you’re sorry
But words won’t cure the pain
I trusted you over everything
But that was all in vain
I don’t ever want to see you
Don’t try to fix it, you can only make it worse
Just run off and rot in hell
Leave me, just disperse
You said you were my best friend
You’re anything but that
Just one lying piece of filth
I wish you’d drop dead, wherever you are at
All the pain I have, all the tears that fell
Come from you and you alone
I hope you’re happy now
You’ve turned my heart to stone
