Helpless Not Hopeless
25 July, 2003
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Strangers can be more understanding.
Strangers see our kindness, They don’t see our Demands.
Family and friends see the helplessness.
They put up with our frustration and sadness.
So when family and friends, are short tempered.
We have to remember.
They want to help but they feel useless.
At least they love us enough to get frustrated too.
Strangers are polite and patient.
But family and friends are HONEST.
