vinebar

As I close my eyes
I slowly drift away.
I dream of the dream
I dreamt up yesterday.
What he used to say
I remember the words.
They fade some everyday
to the point where it hurts.
His strong arms
and how they held my waist.
The kiss of his lips
I can now, barely taste.
Then I wake up
and it all goes away.
Cause it's only the same dream
I dreamt up yesterday.
