Nothing Left
22 June, 2002
Author: Kimberlee
can't feel my fingers
they're starting to tingle.
Nothing left
except for one single.
Last hope to live
though I choose to die.
Nothing left
is what makes me cry.
You're so close
though so far away.
Nothing left
I can think up to say.
Do I whisper I love you
as I sit and break down.
Nothing left
except this same frown.
My breaths seem shorter
the minutes, longer.
Nothing left
I wish I was stronger.
My eyes, so heavy
my heart beats slow too.
Nothing left
but wait, there was you.
