Only In Our Dreams

I always try to meet you at night,
And together we explore,
This feeling I get feels so right,
I’ve never felt this before,
I watch the sun hit your hair,
Gleaming with such grace,
In your eyes I could always stare,
I could forever stay in this place,
I wish these moments could last forever,
So I could always look into your eyes,
I wish that we could always be together,
So we could give “us” a try,
We sit and stare into the night of blue,
I’m wrapped up warm in your arms,
I love to come and sit with you,
And I know that there’s no harm,
I wish each moment we could forever keep,
And that these feelings I could always feel,
For why when I’m with you must I be asleep?
If only you were real,
You are the man of my dreams,
I dance with you in my head,
If only you were what you seemed,
And you were alive instead,
Until you awake with me,
Let’s dance among the streams,
Together we’ll be free,
But only in our dreams…
