Open Your Eyes

A pinch of nature and a touch of love,
A blowing tree and a sitting dove,
A sight of sun and a drop of rain,
Confuse my body and fill my brain,
The thought of nature and love in one,
A new beginning has just begun,
Poems mixed and filled with light,
Different things but all so bright,
Take opposites and put them together,
What you get goes on forever,
Nature is nice, but love is great,
Put them together, well that's just fate,
When I hear poems filled with these,
I'm speechless and on my knees,
I beg for more but no one writes,
Just of regret and all the fights,
But think about the good things too,
Like the floating clouds in the sky of blue,
The beautiful sun shining bright,
Filling your window seal with light,
The birds that chirp in the early sun,
It's like they're singing a song as one,
On the beach with sand in your toes,
This lovely feeling of no one knows,
The sound of the waves in a shell,
It's hard to hear but you can tell,
Just listen closely and you will see,
Just how lovely the Earth can be!
