Fantasy Land

I stare at the first star of the night,
Admiring the way it shines so bright,
I hope you are looking at it too,
Together we stare into the night of blue,
Mr. Moon is out and he's smiling at me,
I wish I were him just floating and free,
No worries, no troubles, no nothing at all,
Just me in the sky not able to fall,
It begins to rain but I sit and dream,
Of all the rain forming a stream,
I watch each raindrop fall to the ground,
I sit and listen and admire the sound,
The sound of the rain fills my head,
So I fantasize more, but of trees instead,
I stare at the big green apple tree,
Just standing tall in front of me,
In a way he is smiling as well,
But then again it's hard to tell,
The leaves begin swaying as one,
They dance together and sing to the sun,
I've daydreamed so long morning is here,
But for some reason I just don't care,
I watch the sunrise with colors so bright,
Mixing together and making such light,
Soon I realize my life is waiting for me,
But it's nice to escape and just feel free,
So when you feel like this think of these things,
And you'll be surprised by the joy it brings!
