So Tired
29 March, 2001

Day to Day
Minute by minute
The weariness of life
And the struggle for life
Takes a toll upon my soul

With no end in sight
For this endless void
That is called my life
Which I question
Over and over within my mind

The endless search
For a friend,
Companion, soulmate,
Or just somebody
Taxes this body and soul

Light gives way to Dark
When loneliness sets in
Which burdens this shell of a life
"Put more on. He can take it,"
Says the world to everyone around

Shaded by Shadows
Describes my battered heart
By broken friendships,
By a woman who I loved,
And by my selfish relatives

Though the Shaded Shadows
I stand here
Broken and silent
As life has left me
And I'm just so tired

Maybe a day will come
Where the stuggle will be won
And where my search will finally end
Maybe the emptiness will be filled

Until then
I stand silently here
Within the Shaded Shadows
Because I'm just to tired to go on
