Forever Waiting
30 January, 2004
Author: Eryemil
Still revere your lips,
After all this time,
Yearn for the way you loved me,
When I thought you mine.
Long for your embrace,
For your ardent kiss,
Remember your body,
What’s there not to miss?
I am cruelly destined,
To this endless night,
To not have your touch,
Whilst you hunt my mind.
You dwell in my dreams,
They are my only escape,
From this harsh reality,
That I can’t t evade.
I’ve never seen you,
Since the day you parted,
Yet I wait for you,
Glum and broken-hearted.
I wait here for you,
To bring back my light,
And I’ll wait forever,
To have you in my life.
Where are you my love,
You are so far away,
You live life elated
While I fade away.
I am truly sorry,
That I yield so fast,
I died waiting for you,
What more can you ask.
I don’t wish to meander,
On this austere Earth,
I‘m leaving this world,
For my soul needs rest.
