The Darkness In Me
19 January, 2004
Author: Eryemil
Light and dark,
Weave their song,
On the forests,
Were shadows fall.
Light corrupted,
Darkness torn,
Flowers that bloomed,
In the thorns.
Like the maiden,
In her first dance,
Like a lad,
Who has found gold,
The happiness I gained ,
Was lived short,
It hardened me,
Made my heart cold.
For me there is no joy,
Only pain,
Nor there is sun,
Only rain,
There’s always calm
before my storm,
Yet for some It’s darker
Before dawn.
Wisdom tainted
By malicious thoughts
Secrets kept
By human blood
To craving seekers
Is this story told
To all the many
that still want more
Do as you please
Yet heed my words
It’s an obscure erudition
Not worth to know.
Life it’s never perfect
There’s always hate
Mistakes realized
When they were already made.
There is always madness,
Fictional light,
After each day,
must come the night.
