This Is How It Ends
18 January, 2004
Author: Eryemil
This is how we end,
Hearts broken, tattered bodies,
This is our penalty,
Punished by our own thoughts,
So this is how it happens,
Enemies to our own minds,
Nothingness would be our future,
If we had one,
This is were we are,
We stand before falling,
Not knowing what lurks behind us,
Yet ready for the end.
We see the world brake before our eyes,
And can’t help but sadly listen,
So many whimpers,
before the final bang.
