Resurrection
20 January, 2001
Author: Larry
dancing dream floating on silent wings,
blown by Godsbreath: wildly thrashing
joined by crystalline brethren mass
covering the blood of the dead man
poured out by his own hand
.. and hers too.. just a little
muffled footfalls trudge
beyond feeling now..
beyond the aching burn of the cold
the cold gnaws at his cheeks
... rapes his lungs...
yet he feels it not at all...
as the warmth spills out of him...
great fluid crimson drops
buried deep in ashen blanket...
forming tiny crimson garnet gem
trodden underfoot
no longer even the pain of the thorn's bite
the cold outside is nothing
compared to the hidden coldness...
the coldness within...
in the swirling maddening white whipped wildness
another is met...
each at their last breath
and when they touch...
there is warmth..
and he feels once again...
a light builds
in the no-space between them
and he is healed by her touch...
