A Suicidal Prayer by LCN

Dear lord I come to you tonight
Asking for your hand
You see I do not want to live
And I hope you understand
You know the things that I’ve done
You’ve watched my every pace
You’ve seen things with my own eyes
You know what lies behind my face
You know of the hurt
And the pain that I endure
So do you believe
Suicide is the cure
The pain of living is too much
I can no longer bare the weight
All love of life is now gone
And the burdens are just too great
So lord I am asking you
To help loved ones understand
Let them know how much I love them
Please give them a helping hand
Now lord I have but one more favor
From this man who doesn’t want to live
“For the life I’m about to take
Will you please forgive?”

Just the time i spent reading "A Fathers Promise" I knew i was hooked on your poems i really wish i was as talented as you.
