How I Feel
6 November, 2003
Author: Leah
Who cares about
lip gloss
Who cares about
hair
I am so depressed
now
That I don't even care
Gotta get some chocolate
In my system soon
And later I'll continue
To lay around in my room
Staring at the wall
With no facial expression
at all
Havnt changed my socks in two days
No one will notice anyway
Suckin' on a lolly pop
Starin' at the tv screen
and yelling "SHUT MY DOOR"
Grouchy all damn day
I run to my room and cry
These days just pass me by
What did I eat today?
I don't even know
Goodbye I'm going to go.............

Ben (67.122.250.227) -- Friday, November 7 2003, 10:07 pm Leah, there are some great lines in this poem! I feel this way at times, too! I don't care about my hair, and I don't use lip gloss but if I did, I wouldn't care! Ha! Ha! Haaaa! Besides some great lines, what I like about this is that it seems to be an honest revelation and expression of your feelings. I admire your courage to be real in a world full of pretenders who bury their true feelings and try so hard to hide their imperfections! Ha! Ha! Haaa! Now please excuse me, I am am going to change these socks I've been wearing for the past three days! Oh, did I mention that I REALLY like this one? You keep this up and you are going to be a very good songwriter! I will be looking forward to your next post. Thank you! ***Ben |
KitKatrina (68.113.60.103) -- Saturday, November 8 2003, 12:25 am I can relate to this poem pretty well. Being that I'm a female. ha ha. I liked the way you expressed yourself in this poem, you did an outstanding job. And same as Ben, I will be looking forward to your next post as well. Keep it up! ~Trina |
