Snowy Wonderland
24 September, 2003
Author: Leah06
Driving down the back roads
The wind in my hair
Gazing at the meadows
With out anger or despair.
The scenery, picture perfect
With it's rugged terrain
It almost seems too fragile
The coming of the rain.
The smell is in the air
As the top goes up
I snuggle next to him
Hot co coca in my cup.
We continue to climb
As the rain turns into sleet
Hitting rapidly on the window
Snow we come to meet.
Turning on the heater
Seeking for some tunes
All we hear is static
Flakes turn into dunes.
Our picture perfect meadow
Warped into a wonderland
Coming back to reality
Book still in thy hand.
