What Am I?

I am but the wind to lighten the load,
The laugh to spark a smile,
The brightest star to wish upon when all hope is lost,
The last candle seen when all else is dark,
The last step twords victory,
The last bit of strength when fighting a battle with wakness,
The rhythum of a soul,
The beat of a heart,
ME,
When no one else is looking.

I am 16 and i too knows what it feels like to want to be somebody your no, or try to get ppls attention with the person that is not really me. i so can relate to what your saying. but what i found out, all you have to do is be yourself, the person you want to become and no one eles. I think you are a wonderful, and awsome poet, and you should keep up the great work, and if being a poet is who you are, continue to do what you do best. |
