Ice Queen
18 June, 2003
Author: LinzAy
Icicles hang from my hair
A block of ice surrounds my heart
Frostbite numbs my fingertips
The ice queen that can't be broken apart
I stare at you with cold blue eyes
Refusing admission
Even if you stand there for forever
You won't get my permission
No melting of this ice queen
Will ever take place
It happened once before
And the warmth slapped me in the face
I have been held before
And I have loved
So don't pretend to know me or my heart
Love held me in a hand that was gloved
Covering all lies
Hiding all cheats
And when he rid of his glove
He also rid of me
I won't give you the chance to prove you're "different"
Who's to say you're really not the same
I stare at you with cold blue eyes
The ice queen will remain
