My love is being muffled
Suffocated by your hate
Horror engulfs my every being
As I finally see your true face
You're beating me down, hurting me
Telling me this is how love is supposed to be
You're making me cry constantly
Putting me through misery
Trust, that was broken so long ago
Passion has been dead
Forever now seems so much longer than before
Affection, a dream in my head
You're abuse is killing me
I'm dieing from all of your violence
Exhausted, half dead I lay under your feet
Every beat of my heart is now silenced

I know a lady who's guy beats her, but she refuses to leave him and if she does she goes right back to him...some people like it. But i swear! the first time a guy lays a hand on me his ass is grass. I will not take abuse, cheating, or drugs. Glad ya liked the poem.......it was inspired by another writer. |
