Empty Soul
14 March, 2003
Author: LinzAy
There is no shape to the clouds
And the trees won't dance their dance
The wind is voiceless tonight
My smile is taken away in an eyes glance
The grass doesn't seem green
Not even on the other side
I leave no footprints in the sand
They're washed away by each tear I cry
The moons glow only makes the night duller
Night isn't singing it's lullaby song
Time passes by slower than ever before
Everything just seems so wrong
Peoples smiles seem so blank
The joy they try to fill me with just leaves me hollow
Their voices drowned out by my cries
I'm left in my own self pity to wallow
I stare blankly at all around me
While thinking thoughts that hurt me whole
But I have no tears left to cry
I have an empty soul
