A Whisper For You To Dream
4 March, 2003
Author: LinzAy
Darling, Mommy's whispering
Let go of all the pain
Don't worry, Mommy's here holding you
And trust I'll see you soon again
I know you're scared, my precious baby
I know you don't want to leave Mommy
But it's all going to be okay
Go to sleep my precious Tommy
I feel that I've been selfish
Crying and begging for you not to give up, not to go
But I've realized now you're holding on for only me
Because you love your mommy so
My precious I whisper into your ear
That we must work together as a team
You do your part, I'll do mine
And tell you to dream a wonderful dream
I've come to grips with the fact
That you're forever going to stay so ill
So please go be pain free in that wonderful place
A void in Heaven you'll definitely fill
Although I'll miss you more than you'll ever know
My heart will be set to ease
Knowing my Tommy will be my angel once again
~Darling, dream a wonderful dream

LinzAy (152.163.188.65) -- Thursday, March 6 2003, 12:53 pm Thanx Everett!! Yea....i also felt a little sad after reading it. Because of the fact that people actually do have to tell someone they love so much what is basically said up there. But it mostly made me sad after i reread it a few times bc i realized my grandma didn't let go until my dad talked to her in coma like state and told he knew it was time for her to go and that it was ok to. This poem made my Dad cry... |
