Silence

Author: LinzAy
It's so quiet.
There's so much noise. But it's over-ruled by silence.
A silence of hope.
Desperation.
A sad silence, one that makes your eyes tear, but not quite cry.
Turn verything to it's loudest volume
and still there's nothing you hear but silence.
So quiet you want to speak, but it wouldn't matter.
You wouldn't be heard.
SIlence is the loudest thing right now.
Too loud.
A defeaning silence.
Hurting, painful, sad.
Make it go away.
Helo me retrieve sound.
Push silence away from me so I can hear the words you're saying, the words you're speaking to me.
I wish I could hear them now.
Are they pleasant? Are they inspiring?
I can't tell.
All I can hear is silence.
Nothing else.
