Confession
27 February, 2004
Author: Hippiechic21
Forgive me father for I have sinned.
I gave it up without thinking it through,
I let myself go before thinking, what would Jesus do?
Forgive me father for I have lied.
I wanted more than I got,
so I got what I wanted without wondering what you thought.
Forgive me father for I have deceived.
I led them on to what wasn't there,
I let them think you didn't care.
Forgive me father for I have abused.
I've harmed me,
when I knew I wasn't trying to be the best I could be.
Forgive me fahter for I have trespassed.
I've gone where I didn't belong,
when I knew it was a place where you wouldn't want me tagging along.
Forgive me father for I have felt lust.
I've fallen so hard,
my heart has been forever scarred.
Forgive me father for I have forgotten.
I've let myself fall away,
I need to change, I can't live this way.
