Hope
30 December, 2002
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Things that are taken away fast,
sometimes are returned just as fast.
I've been wishing for years to not let this last.
Nothing, thought I was being ignored, so just accepted my fate.
Just when I was feeling no hope, no more waiting.
In just a few hours things change for the best.
I guess I passed past the test.
That's one test I'm glad I didn't fail.
