you looked my way
then turned your face
I had gone unnoticed
I ran towards you
I called your name
but you just kept walking
I stood in front of you
I looked deep into your eyes
but you looked passed me
how I needed you
how I wanted you
how you didn't care
all my strength
all my time
all that you didn't notice
when no one listened
I listened
when no one cared
I cared
I gave you all of me
I gave every inch of my heart
thank you for throwing it a side
I threw my arms around you
I swore I would always love you
thank you for laughing at me
I don't really know if you didn't notice
or if you just didn't care
either way I loved you

Martin Vann (65.56.170.88) -- Thursday, February 27 2003, 10:33 pm Lisa, He must have been a kid, as Lasohnda described him. I say that because, no "man," who had love, free of other responsibilities would have walked away and not have taken you in his arms and made your lips and body trimble! MartinV |
