My Dream
20 April, 2003
Author: Lola
There is a place I dream of,
Angels come and take me away
In midst of the night.
There are no worries,
Lies or mistakes.
We sit on the clouds
Playing games and laughing.
Everyone is nice,
No rude jokes are made,
Everyone is friends.
White horses with wings
Take us for long joyful rides.
Lollipops, ice cream, and candy
Are everywhere you go.
The sun shines on us keeping us warm,
When we get tired it disappears and
Lets the moonlight in.
Falling asleep on the soft
Cotton like clouds.
But when I wake up,
It is all vanished into
Thin air.
The angels are gone,
White horses, lollipops, ice cream and candy too,
The lies are haunting us once again,
The rude comments and jokes,
Won’t go away, everyone one is laughing,
Not together of course,
They are laughing at one single person
That person is me.
They’re making me cry
And my tears run down my face
Everything is blurry once again.
I wish I could dream about my
Special place.
I wish the angels were here to take me away.
So it would all just go away.
