Through Someone's Eyes
8 February, 2004
Author: Luc
I found nirvana, under my bed,
I saw heaven, in the back of my head,
I saw my razor blade; it wished I was dead,
I let it kiss me, one of my dearest friends…
I saw your face, etched into the night sky,
I saw tears, brake from the clouds,
I saw a smile in my dreams,
I saw the world explode…
Falling from the sky,
Landing point unknown,
Lying in a pool of blood,
Slowly losing control,
Bit by bit I'm going insane,
In the end, I dug my own grave.
I wonder if yesterday was found,
I think I saw tomorrow come,
I'm watching today pass me up,
I wonder what it’s all for.
For a minute, I saw the earth spin,
For a moment, time stood still,
But in an instance, trust back into reality,
For eternity, I’m lost in my own insanity.
Riding all night,
Destination unknown,
White roses in my pocket,
Over death I have no control,
I look to the ceiling,
Knowing I’m losing it,
Cause in the end,
It’s all just bull****.
At the end of the flickering tunnel,
I saw God,
At the end of this huge bubble,
I saw Brahma,
At the bottom of this bottle,
I saw the truth,
At the end of this night,
I saw how much I care for you…
Falling from the sky,
Landing point unknown,
Lying in a pool of blood,
Slowly losing control,
Bit by bit I'm going insane,
In the end, I dug my own grave.
I found nirvana, under my bed!
I saw heaven, in the back of my head!
I saw my razor blade; with its beautiful lips!
I let it kiss me, oh my dearest friend!
I saw your face, etched into the night sky!
I saw your eyes, cast that spell over me!
I saw your smile in my dreams!
I saw the world explode…

Lady Eryemil (205.188.116.69) -- Sunday, March 21 2004, 06:54 am I like the way this poem is so dark but you can see a lot of this world's reality in it. I bet it has special meaning for you though, but from my point of view it's just amasing. |
