Unselfishness
10 November, 2002
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Trying to be caring and thoughtful is hard when you forget what you're told.
Remembering your own cares and thoughts are hard enough when you get old.
Feeling overwhelmed just because people have problems that you listen to.
Is putting yourself through anquish, that you don't need to.
It's nice to remember their woes.
But when you don't, they won't make you their foe.
Thinking of yourself when you're ill isn't being selfish.
You are just trying to get better ,so that you can worry about your friends woes
And to me that is being unselfish..
