Visiting Angel Whispers
17 November, 2001
Author: Lucinda Lee Tinsley
At night, my dreams become a journey,
They take me to far away places,
There my Angel visits me
I am wisked away,
where there are magical rainbows,
And angels at play
As I drift off,
to visit once again,
With all my special little friends,
The peace that always seems to surround me
Touches my heart, sets my spirit free
Through my journies I have found,
I am joined by this tiny little angel,
Always greeted with a smile, never a frawn
But only in my dreams, do hear her, do I see
This gracious angel, that whispers to me
I can feel the warmth of her breath,
as she whispers in my ear,
I can see her saddeness sometimes,
I can feel her tears,
Though she tries oh so hard to hide it,
she covers it vey well with a smile
I know in my heart, she is somehow lost out there,
frightened of something, her pain I too bare
Her whispers have grown weaker with each time,
and one day I know I will awake only to find
That she will no longer be heard, not even to me
Dear whispering Angel, please don't stop visiting me
What is it, that you cry out for,
help me to find a way, so you don't have to be sad anymore
Dearest little angel I feel you beside me,
and if you only visit in my dreams,
That is just fine, I will not again ask why,
But the whispers are fading, and all i here now are your cries
I wish with all my heart, that with my eyes I could see,
Who you really are, And understand why you have chosen me.
And will you alaways be, apart of my dreams
Your visits have become, my favorite time of the day,
when I can close my eyes, and hear what you have to say
Whispering Angel, you gleam with shimmering light,
with eyes so green, hair so white
Beside you, I take this journey each night,
never knowing Why
So though you may not understand, why you are here with me
I want you to know in your heart, that you are very precious,
and the gift I now see
I will no longer question, why you come to visit,
But instead, i will just give
My gift of love, for what I don't think you see,
Is that you have become my best friend,
And I would miss you if you were not still here ,
Even if only,
In my dreams.
