My Angel My Son

I hear his whispers most every night,
even though he has gone from my sight
I still feel the breath of his words, as they continue to speak to my heart,
and now I believe in spirit and love we will never part,
I pray for strength each morning I awake,
And i get down on my knees and just say thanks.
Thank you dear Father, for giving me such a preciouse gift,
Even though you had to take him home, you thought it fit
The times that I shared with him, though they were few,
I still consider a most graciouse gift from you
Life will come and life will go,
But in my heart I can remember, I always will know,
What that child had given to me,
And I had to let him go, so the pain would not be
So dear Father, take good care, and know that through my faith in you,
I have learned how to bare,
The days he is not here beside me,
But today I realize his spirit, his soul is free.
