As the notes sound to those that have a soul to hear
So my heart sings its song of love and hope
To have you, my love, feel the reverberation
Knowing that with each chord, soul touches soul

And in the stillness that lies between the notes
The meaning of the words invade the dormant mind
Your heart listens silently as each interlude passes
With quiet resolve my message to you becomes clear

As the final notes pass into the still night air
My soul awaits in anticipation for a few notes
Each a reply, each an acceptance of my song
Telling of hopes and dreams that we would share

With time and patience the songs grow and flourish
Each adding to the other, strengthening the bonds
And in a final wild abandon a crescendo is reached
Completing a beautiful symphony composed of love
