Kingdom In The Sky
10 December, 2003
Author: Mark Spencer

vinebar

I see the moonlight on the sea,
As I walk along the beach.
An ocean breeze whispers to me,
It's song within my reach.

I see it shining in the night,
A divine, majestic gleam.
A mighty kingdom shining bright,
That seemed almost like a dream.

A choir of angels fill the skies,
Shining like heavenly quasars.
As if a thousand fireflies,
Had intermingled with the stars.

The morning sun begins to rise,
Casting pictures upon the sea.
His grace reflecting in my eyes,
His loving light shines down on me.

As the day engulfs the sky,
I watch the kingdom fade away.
To that place where angels fly,
That I will see again one day.
