The Meaning Of Christmas

If there is a star that guides you,
And if Jesus dwells inside you,
Then you know the meaning of Christmas.
If your heart is filled with giving,
Every day that you are living,
Then you know the meaning of Christmas.
He gave up His life for you and me.
From the bonds of sin He set us free.
He opened our eyes so we could see,
That He is the meaning of Christmas.
If there is a cross that you bear,
A burden that you cannot share,
Then you know the meaning of Christmas.
If unrighteous souls, you’d defend,
Or give your last breath for a friend,
Then you know the meaning of Christmas.
He gave up His life for you and me.

That He is the meaning of Christmas.
