Underneath Your Bed

Twas All Hollow’s Eve
And all through the house,
Just one creature was stirring,
And it wasn’t a mouse.

The children were resting,
Asleep like the dead,
Never suspecting
What lived under their bed.

It wasn’t a witch,
A goblin or troll,
This kind of creature
Feeds on the soul.

this is a monster
more fearsome than most,
It dines on a demon,
And snacks on a ghost.

With glowing red eyes,
And razor sharp teeth,
It waits for it’s prey
On the bed underneath.

When the clock strikes midnight,
It will be set free,
To feed on these children,
And their family.

And then at twelve “O” one,
Back under the bed,
Still drunk from the slaughter,
Another family dead.

And there it will wait,
For fools who don’t believe,
In dark haunted legends,
Of All Hollow’s Eve.

If you hear it moving,
Remember what you’ve read.
This creature might be waiting
Underneath your bed.
