Reality T.v.

Is reality defined by public appeal?
Does sexiness or muscle make a person real?

We accept breast implants over the real thing!
That’s the reality that the T.V. shows bring.

All T.V. Idols must be twenty six or less.
Youth or beauty will be the key to their success.

If you’re a survivor, you might be selected.
And if you’re attractive, you won’t be rejected.

If fear is a factor, then look good showing skin.
If you have sex appeal, then they might let you in.

Do you dream of a bachelor or a bachelorete?
That is a dream that average people should forget.

Realism won’t be found on your T.V.
Even though they claim the shows are reality.

We live the lie, give a facelift to the truth.
Is life really about beauty, money and youth?

Are we that superficial, is that all we are?
Is truth only skin deep, without blemish or scar?

Maybe I’m wrong and it’s the lie that I see.
It might be me out of touch with reality.

Anything is possible, I do suppose.
Reality T. V.? Perhaps only God knows.
