Let The Wise Pay Heed
4 October, 2003
Author: Mark Spencer
Let the wise pay heed to my words,
The child will vanish with no trace.
Mother and Father search in vain,
For the heir they cannot replace.
Many will seek yet fail to find,
Let the wise pay heed to my words.
On land, the child is not concealed,
Search where gather flocks of sea birds.
Hopes will dwindle as days pass by,
While the child remains in the dark.
Let the wise pay heed to my words,
Her cell can be seen from the park.
Her captors will keep her alive,
And ask a million and two thirds.
Pay or not, they intend to kill,
Let the wise pay heed to my words.
