Comparative Analysis Of Innocence And Guilt
27 August, 2003
Author: Mark Spencer
INNOCENCE, as its defined,
Is a state of being free.
Freedom from evil deeds,
A life of purity.
It doesn't cause another pain,
Nor strive to offend.
Innocence is blameless,
No harm does it intend.
In it there is no malice,
Within no darkness hides.
Sin has never breached it,
No evil there resides.
GUILT is more than acquainted With causing an offence.
Its where the blame is found,
For it has no defense.
Its selfish in it's actions,
Caring not for consequence.
While every word of flattery
Is simply a pretense.
It enjoys creating trouble,
Where there's crime, you'll find it there.
It is searching for a victim,
Let the innocent beware.
