Having A Past
6 October, 2002
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Don't like dwelling on the past.
Just glad that it didn't last.
But if it wasn't for everything that we go through.
We wouldn't be understanding and cool.
Compassionate to others.
Feeling their familiar pain.
Being raised with coldness and humiliation,
Makes you kind and proud.
Most of the nicest people are the ones that had a rough life.
You can turn out nice or mean your choice, if you have a past.
