Monsters
4 May, 2002
Author: Mark Spencer
You may see them in the shadows,
they are creatures of the night.
They'll be hiding in the darkness,
Because they fear the light.
They are waiting for a victim,
who would like to make a deal.
Another fool who needs a fix,
and another soul to steal.
They may not look like monsters,
But their hearts were forged in Hell.
They don't care for anything,
except the poison that they sell.
They will try to take our children,
with their venom as the bait.
Will our kids be strong enough
to avoid that kind of fate?
Monsters are never far away,
from those who haven't seen the light.
They'll be waiting to make a deal
in the shadows late at night.
