A Castle Made Of Sand
16 January, 2003
Author: Mark Spencer
Love Can Be A Mighty Force,
Or A Castle Made Of Sand.
It Can Bring Us To Our Knees,
Or Give Us The Strength To Stand.
It Will Grant You Happiness
When You Treat It With Respect.
But Love Can Lose It's Luster
When It's Care Falls To Neglect.
It Is Not Invincible,
There Is Much It Can't Withstand.
Love Can Be A Mighty Force,
Or A Castle Made Of Sand.

Martin Vann (67.75.180.121) -- Tuesday, February 4 2003, 10:18 pm You are a master, although I tried, I have nothing negative to say, I have no heartly advice to give, and that seems to be my forte. You express love as known from experience, guess, I have been there to. Don't really feel that I have lost, I just didn't think the time was right, to love my person as you loved yours. My castles are stronger now, less sand in my construction, I know what it is I need. Poems like yours, they re-asure me, give me confidence, I did the right thing and caused no one, any pain. Damn, its hard to grow and become mature, it was so simple, when I was young and imature. Thanks Mark, You are the master. Martin If you will keep teaching, I will keep learning, the roads we travel are not the same, but I think, the direction is. |
Lori Ann Day (198.81.26.137) -- Saturday, February 22 2003, 01:46 am Sand castles are dangerous, especially when you try to live in them! |
