Lonely Heart
5 August, 2003
Author: ShyHeart
How lonely, can one heart be, look up at the sky, and you will see
The bright, full moon and all the stars, I’m the only cloud, passing by
How lonely, can one heart be, write a love song, with no melody
Then sing it to your self, that’s how lonely, one heart, can be
I’m drifting, lost in a cloud, that’s passing, in front of the moon
and I’m hurting, still loving you, as I pray, for the morning sun.
Let the sunshine, dry my eyes, and may your heart’s beat
Remember me, before the sunlight, fades away,
and I pass again, alone, in front of the moon…,

Martin Vann (171.75.207.198) -- Friday, September 12 2003, 10:55 pm Terrie, With out a doubt, you are an addicted, romantic, in love with love, sometimes it seems to vanish, for we are mortal. Yet, love comes back again, found in a stranger's eyes, sometimes from a friend. Love is a fleeting heart-beat, full of warmth and understanding, then again, it can dissapear. Thank God, for our poetic pen, we bring love back again, once a stranger, now, a friend, who understands. We are the love, that flows, through the poet's pen. I thank you, Terrie, soul-mate to my pen! MartinV |

martinV (171.75.207.235) -- Saturday, January 10 2004, 10:50 pm Sometimes, I will read my own poems, to seen where I have been, to seen where I have gone and to see, what potentially, lies ahead. I read this poem today and realized, how bright and full, the moon has been the last couple of days. Have you noticed it to? It has been beautiful! How vain I must be to say, sometimes, I am amazed, by my own work, yet, I must confess, the words are not mine, how could they be? I hope you understand MartinV |
Pamela (66.38.146.204) -- Sunday, January 11 2004, 01:37 am I completely understand what you just said Martin....sometimes when I write, I feel as though I am having an outer-body experience and the words aren't mine at all. Instead, they are from some other being that is within myself, who only comes out once and awhile. Or sometimes the subject of the poem is so compelling that it takes over your conscience and writes these words about itself - only for you to remember it so vivdly later on. Beautiful poem Martin, just beautiful. |
Leah (204.112.163.134) -- Sunday, January 11 2004, 07:00 am This is a really unique poem. I loved it. You don't need me to tell you this but you are truly a poetic dreamer. |
Martin Vann (63.185.64.253) -- Friday, July 9 2004, 05:33 pm Leah, I suppose, we have all, felt this way. Thank You, Martin V |
