She Left Him Love

We were so young, hearts relishing, the results of the search
No more, do we hide our needs, no more do we seek
The pleasure of our hearts, the touch of loving flesh
This, you can not hide, when two loving hearts, meet.

The years have been a country road
Our love has traveled its bumpy path
We have at times, gone our separate ways
But our love, has never passed us by
Just, sometimes, we traveled this country road
Not with our hearts, but with foolish eyes and pride.

After all these years, we have never loved
Anyone, as we have always, loved each other
Now, we share a son, he is our dream come true
He is the love, we have always shared
My sweet, do not cry, for my time has come
There is nothing you can do, yet I weep, as you try.

I do not leave you alone, I have given you our son
He is my love for you, he is your love for me
Do not cry, for time, will stop the pain
Then you and I, and one day our son
Will be together, once again.

Until that time, when you long for me,
He will be, the warmth of love I leave with you
He is the answer found at the end of
This country road, he is the warmth
I leave with you, he is our love, he is our son.
