How The Hell, Did You Get In
31 March, 2003
Author: ShyHeart
I can’t believe you got to me,
My heart is made of Steel
Must have been you showed me
Love, love that can be real
I can’t believe you got to me
No one ever has, it must be love
For I’m made of Steel, and no one
has ever made me feel
Feel, the way, that you do.
I have a place and I know this place
I let no one in, but here your are
Tell me now, How the Hell did you get in?
I know my place and I was safe
A heart sheltered by its steel.
So, tell me now, is this love?
You’ve entered where, no one has ever been
My heart is made of high grade steel
Tell me now, how the Hell, did you get in?

Red Dragon (210.14.4.46) -- Wednesday, April 2 2003, 11:19 am "My heart is made of high grade steel Tell me now, how the Hell, did you get in?"-----> Perhaps one time, though made of steel, cold and numb, maybe, but not necessarily, you left you heart door open...And then again, no matter how hard you try...LOVE is irresistable...What do you think Martin V. Congratulations! You're In LOVE!!!! |
Martin Vann (65.56.170.98) -- Wednesday, April 2 2003, 03:45 pm R.D.; I had a call from a old high school friend last week and you know, we go way back. He said, Martin, guess who is back in my heart? Now, if my buddy had been a politician, he would have won election because of his "Open Door Policy." His heart is always, out there on his sleeve. Anyway, I asked, Okay, Who? He said Rachel. He & Rachel are the eptimy of the On & Off relationship. When he said Rachel, I asked, "How The Hell Did She Get Back In?" That is the story behind this bit of steel wit. You were close R.D. and read it like I would have. Thanks, Martin |

Martin Vann (65.57.62.203) -- Wednesday, April 2 2003, 09:50 pm LinzAy, Sometimes, you are the ice cube on a flaming heart, you get in, you get out. I like the way you say it, simple and complete. Like the guard rail along the poet's highway, we need you! You are also, one heck of a poet. Now, take a break, slow down, e a s y does it, feel betther now? As always, my respects to you, MartinV |

Maurene (64.12.96.107) -- Monday, April 7 2003, 01:40 am Sounds like you/the other person were putting emotions behind a barrier. Exhibiting territoriality. And when someone got thru/around that fence/barrier there was shock/surprise. I liked it. |
