Tears Of Gold
3 January, 2004
Author: Marty Henry
To my lady that I love, I am lucky the lucky one
To have and to hold a love that is true,
in this world it's only me and you.
On a cold winters day, your tears fall to the ground
an open heart with a silent sound.
The tears that are so warm as they melt the snow,
They are the tears as good as good as gold.
I will catch these tears and put them in my heart,
Now being with you my world is like a work of art.
As a man, I'll take your hand, and give you what I can
They key of love will never die, because this love is you and I.
Your look, your eyes, the touch of your hands, I am the lucky man.
The smell of your skin, the kiss of your lips,
there is nothing better than this
The warmth of your body next to mine is forever with ending times.
So to my lady that I love our shadows are begging to be as one
I will always be here with open hands, I am the lucky man
The tears of gold are in my heart to stay forever to never part
How lucky I am to have you in my life, to ask you to share the world as man & wife.
