Seven Rings On The Water
16 December, 2003

Sometimes this old old world makes us fight and cry.
Calling each other names than asking why?
Slamming of the door I drove away.
Finding myself at a special place.

This river has called my name here again.
Where the echoes of our love first began.
Reflections of my tears as they fall.
Making their own rings they say it all.

1st Ring has told me to make away.
2nd one says never go astray.
3rd one just a crying, 4th one holding on.
With the 5th one singing our favorite song.
6th one is trying to break free.
But the seventh one is protecting,
the reflection of you and me.

With that feeling inside.
Echoes of a whisper and a cry.
The touch of those loving hands.
That I need.
Answers to my prayers are in the rings.
