Unconditional Love
29 September, 2003
Author: Marty Henry
You say your getting heavier than before.
A larger dress size from the store.
I see the tears as you look in the mirror.
As a husband I try to say the right things.
My vows of love, you are still my everything.
For better or worse in believing this is true.
What if we had a car accident, a scar or two?
A disfigured face. A loss of a limb.
I'll still be here from beginning to end.
Some people may judge us in many ways.
Need not to worry what that scale may say.
I don't need a Brittany, nor Shania Twain.
I thank GOD for you. YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING.

MartinV (67.28.88.103) -- Saturday, November 1 2003, 09:38 pm Marty, I can understand, how a woman may feel, last year's dresses. seem to be to small, though, she needs to know, and from your poem, I think you tell and show her so, as time goes by, my love as does everything, just grows, I love you so! This poem came from a loving heart. Tell her that we all know, you love her and see your love, in the reflections of her private mirror, she need not worry about you, we all read, this poem from you, and know your love for her is true.
