Love Is All I Had
29 March, 2004
Author: BabyGirl
love is feared and fearless i am,
not afraid to take him by the hand,
my heart is cold, somewhat week,
but when i am hurt i turn my cheek,
sometimes it makes you happy,
then again you want to cry,
it brings to you emotions
that tend to pour through your eyes,
you can't hold back, no-matter how you try,
love is an emotion that always makes you cry,
i write this and think of something in the past,
i remember a love that i once had,
although that love is gone,
the memory is not,
your heart is still with me,
no i have not forgot,
love is a good thing, no it's not bad,
as i casually sit and remember, that love is all i had,
you came into my life,
and you had to walk away,
but i'm not mad,
i just wish you could have stayed.

You are definitely right, when there's nothing else to lean on, when the world seems like it's on your shoulders, love stays strong. Love sticks by our side, and that's what I like!! I can relate to this BG!! Have fun now! This is Meridian |
Xeracy (205.124.145.254) -- Saturday, April 3 2004, 12:11 am I love the poem. My fav. idea about the poem is the crying part. Especialy the line that says "love is an emotion that always makes you cry," |
