Are My Feelings Yours?
1 April, 2004
Author: Brett
Every day I ponder what you are thinking
So that our thoughts can somehow be connecting...
For it is impossible to speak my mind
I therefore have to keep everything inside...
And I know you say I have nothing to fear
But infact I fear the things that make you unaware...
Of how strong my feelings really are for you
And how I love the way you talk, walk, everything you do...
I tried to keep the feelings away from your eyes
But they're almost too obvious by now to hide...
So I'll pretend that this poem isn't real
And that you really don't know just how I feel...
Because it scares me not knowing what your feelings are
And i can only hope that they are somewhat similar...
Because expressing myself puts my heart on the line
So i can only hope your feelings are close to mine...
