Love And Rejection
14 October, 2003
Author: Megan
I remember cool nights and butterfly kisses tickling my face
I think you forgot
She doesn't bring back those memories , does she ?
You forget more and more each time she gives you a kiss
Remember when you held me when I was not so strong
Looked me in my eyes and lied right to my face
You said you loved me and it was okay
Then how come my place in your arms is filled by her ?
How come you don't think about me
When I can't get away from these thoughts of you
You don't even give me the time of day
But I still feel a love for you I wish I could throw away
Just like you threw me away
You lead me in this circle
Its a cycle of a sick joke
the jokes on me
and I always end up in the same place
One day this pain will heal
And I hope I will get away from what lures me to you
Rejection never hurt so much
All that I ever wanted was your never ending love that ended
