Still The Same

All the crap that i have gone through,
I'm still the same,
Even though you call me names by the way i look,
I'm still the same,
You told me that you didn't like me
but hey, i'm still the same,
It doesn't matter what you call me, who you call me,
what i may look like cuz i'm from a diffent state
and that my skin isn't as white as yours...
I will always be the same.
I have people that accept me for who i am
and if they can't accept me well then screw them.
I have made so many new friends for just being myself..
even though i never met my real family or mom or father.
I still have my adoptive parents for taking me in and i love them so much.
I mean it could be worse,
i'm glad i can come home with food on the table,
a bed to sleep in and a loving family to hold when i'm down..
so if you ever feel like like you hate life??
Just sit down and look around you??
you have a home to come to
and family who may not show that they care about you.
but they do. So don't say that..
I'm still the same!
