What do you do
When you can't change their mind
And you always wonder why?
You wonder what the world looks like through their eyes

You tell them time and time again
but they will not listen
they will not let you in

They say they are "fat" or "stupid"
they might just be kidding
But you may never know

These statements hurt you so
They are so not true!!
And they should know
Your feelings somehow show
Disgust and dissappointment arise on your face
They think you are mad
but that is not the case
"how could you feel that way about yourself?!?"
You are wonderful!!
And full with so much potential!!

You want to carry them through life
Protect them
and make their decisions right
You try to be there for them all the time
but it's just too impossible
they need to be on their own
Sometimes they want your help
Other times they want you to just leave them all alone!!

It pains you to see them all by themself
Hurting, and hating their life
You hope depression does not come to knock
It's common in their family
what a shock!

You could not bear life with out them
They are your soulf mate
Your best friend forever
With out them you don't know what you'd do
May they feel better and happy again
May good thoughts return inside their heads
And you do not have to feel and see their pain
A gash to thier heart is like the same for you
